Terms
- Minimum term is one year. Billed annually, net 30. Purchase orders accepted.
- A workstation license is one installed copy on one physical or virtual machine. Any number of people may use that machine.
- A license is tied to the machine, not to a login. There are no user accounts and no passwords to manage.
- Renewal is at the then-current price for the quantity held. Multi-year buyers keep their locked price.
- All tiers include every analytic module, sample data, built-in tutorials, and updates during the term.
- A lapsed paid license keeps working. You keep the version you have; updates and support stop.
- Purchase orders accepted, and a quote on agency letterhead comes back the same day. W-9 and vendor registration paperwork on request.
- Email support answered in about two business days.

Questions
Is this per user?
No. A license is per installed machine. Anyone who sits at that machine can use MICHAEL.
Can I pay monthly?
Licenses are annual. Agencies tell us one invoice a year is easier to budget and approve than twelve.
What if we replace a computer?
Contact us and we will move your license to the new machine. Laptop refreshes and reimaging are normal and we do not charge for them.
Can I buy a single copy for myself?
MICHAEL is licensed to organizations. If you are an analyst who wants it on your desk, request a copy and we will work with your agency.
Does it work offline?
MICHAEL installs locally and keeps your data on your machine. Internet is only needed for the features you switch on: map imagery, geocoding, live feeds, the version check, and any AI features you connect with your own API keys. Your case data is not among them unless you use the AI analyst, which names exactly what it sends before it sends it.
Is there a trial?
Yes. Request your copy and we will email you a download link. The trial runs for 14 days with every feature switched on, and there is no key to wait for.
Do you offer multi-year pricing?
Yes. Prepay two years and take 10% off, or three years and take 15% off. Your price is locked for the term.
